Automaark Labs · Practical assessments

Show us how you work,
not how you interview.

Labs is where people who applied to join Automaark do a short, practical assessment for their role. About an hour of real work, at a time you choose, with the tools you'd actually use, including AI.

01 / Why Labs

We hire for the work, so we test the work.

Automaark builds production software, AI systems, automation and go-to-market infrastructure for clients. What matters day to day is picking up something you didn't make, working out what's really going on, and doing it properly.

Interviews reward talking about that. Labs lets you show it, with the tools you'd really use, and treats everyone applying for a role exactly the same way.

02 / Assessments

One assessment per role.

Your invitation email says which one is yours. Each page explains what you'll do, what we look for and what you'll need.

03 / What we look for

Judgment, not memorised answers.

01

Real work, not trivia

You do a small piece of the actual job, on realistic material, the way you would on a normal day.

02

Judgment over memory

We care how you reason, what you prioritise and what you check, not whether you remember an answer.

03

AI is allowed

Use the tools you would use at work. We want to see you move fast and catch their mistakes.

04

Clear, honest writing

Short notes on what you did, what you'd do next and what you're unsure of. Plain English beats polish.

05

The same for everyone

Everyone applying for a role gets the same assessment and is scored against the same written criteria.

06

Respect for your time

About an hour, at a time you choose. The clock only starts when you press Start.
