Senior Technical QA Engineer

Two hours as the senior QA engineer on a clinic booking app before a release: your own live copy with real bugs in it, a PRD, a payment provider's docs and a developer's notes that don't all agree. Plan by risk, write test cases, report bugs a developer can fix from your report alone, test flows out of order and the integration against its docs, automate tests in a private GitHub repo that we run against broken builds, triage a release, and sign off (or not) a hotfix under pressure.

Tell us about your work. It takes about 10 minutes and a person reads every application we shortlist. If it's a fit, we'll invite you to our practical assessment (the Lab): two hours testing a real, deliberately buggy product: test design, bug reports with evidence, and automated tests in a private GitHub repository, with AI tools allowed.

We'll send a link to confirm it, then everything else goes here.

City and country.

Part of the Lab happens in a private repository we create for you.

Ideally a test project you built (redact anything confidential).

Automation frameworks, languages, API and performance tools, test management, CI. Say what you used each for.

What it tested, the framework and language, how many tests, where it ran, and how you dealt with flaky tests.

As you would file it: title, steps to reproduce, expected, actual, environment, evidence you attached, severity, and what happened next.

With the currency, for example ₦1,200,000 or $1,500.

We never ask for passwords, payment or ID documents. Questions? careers@automaark.com
